1. How to choose a travel agency.
Ask yourself: how do they operate? Do they only have Internet booking engine and are so hard to reach that you would never get an answer to a simple question when you need it most? Do they just hire order-takers who never left city in their life?
Would you spend your money and buy a vacation from someone who has no idea about the place where you are going to, or would you rather buy a vacation from us and receive personalized, knowledgeable assistance instead?

2. Why booking with us is safer?
If you want to go gambling on your holiday, wait till you get to a casino.
Recent example: Take the more than 17,000 people who found themselves without flights on a single day on March 11, 2005 when Jetsgo suddenly turned into Jetsgone. Add in the future bookings on the Montreal-based discount carrier and up to 100,000 people could be affected. Customers who bought their tickets directly from them or from non-regulated travel agency had to kiss both their cash and their holiday goodbye.
All customers who bought through Travelonly (TICO reg. #4316071) were able to get a refund.
The TICO Compensation Fund (governed by Regulation 26/05 made under the Travel Industry Act, 2002) compensates consumers who paid for, but did not receive travel services because of the bankruptcy or insolvency of a registered Ontario travel agency or travel wholesaler.
3. Myth: if I book directly from hotel or airline company, I get a better deal.

4. Last minute booking: pros and cons.
- Pro: You may be able to get very good discounts
- Con: Limited choice
- Con: If you need visa or special immunization you may not be able to get it on time
- Con: The resort you want may be sold out and you may end up going somewhere you didn't want to
- Con: If you are going with the group of friends - not all of them may be able to get tickets!
- Con: Price may go back up any time (yes, it does happen)
Today a lot of people like to travel, and if you wait until the last minute you are severely limiting your choice. Think about it: it only makes sense that the best resorts get sold out first.
And here's what's happening with flights: if you check prices 3-4 months in advance, you'll notice that there are all kinds of seat classes available. As times goes, the carriers remove the cheapest fares - they "expire" if they are not sold out. So you end up with expensive seats on your favorite carries, and no choice to switch to another carrier - they all operate the same way.
For example:The customer wanted to go to a luxury resort with 8 friends. He said he was checking prices every 3-4 days, starting few month in advance. Suddenly 4 days before departure the price started going up! He panicked, booked immediately but his friends were not able to act fast and he ended up going only with his girlfriend. He wasn't happy at all - the risk wasn't worth it.
We have a lot of last minute deals, so if you are adventurous type, comfortable with taking risk of having your favorite resort sold out then last minute deal is just for you.

Cruises are hot, and are getting hotter! Now people of all ages cruise, and the level of satisfaction is the highest in the travel industry.

6. Insurance - covered or not?
You may have your medical benefits from or your spouse's workplace, but you should always call them to confirm your coverage. They usually don't cover trip cancellation or interruption. Also, credit card medical insurance packages usually limit your travel to 10-15 days. Bottom line: always travel with reliable insurance.
